We analyze the movie list with some fun categories, such as our favorites, movies we didn't click with, and a few others. Way back in Episode 001, we each talked about our favorite movies at the time. Since so much time has passed, we decided to make new favorites lists and see what has changed, and if our little podcast had any impact. We have officially reached the final film on our list! This was chosen as our finale because, as you probably already know, people absolutely LOVE The Shawshank Redemption. Our penultimate film, as well as our penultimate Stephen King adaptation, The Green Mile has a lot riding on it as one of our anchor films in this final stretch. This entry on our list is similar to Citizen Kane, in that it's not really a movie that's recommended as often these days, but deserves its spot due to its impact. On the Waterfront is one of the most celebrated American films. It's a movie filled with subtle performances that contains one of the most potent and impassioned rallying cries for workers' rights that still rings true today.
