Episode 7 - Geena D. Anderson, Honey Badges NFTs

I am delighted to release the latest podcast episode for The CareTakers, an interview with the glorious Geena D. Anderson, founder and CEO of Honey Badges [https://www.honeybadges.xyz] and The Cova Project [https://twitter.com/thecovaproject]. Geena's experience in the nonprofit world is extensive, with The Cova Project, an Aussie charity, she provides safe sanitary solutions to womxn in developing communities across Africa.  In March 2022, she released The Honey Badges NFTs, 10,100 cheeky NFTs to mint on Solana that fund change-makers and fight for equality.  In this episode, we discuss the making and sustaining of a PFP project such as The Honey Badges, talk about decentralized philanthropy and reinventing the charitable model, and how to survive the (insane) Web3 lifestyle.  Enjoy!

Episode 6 - Drew Simon from Crypto Altruism

On this week's episode, I meet with Drew Simon from Crypto Altruism [https://www.cryptoaltruism.org/about]. Drew is a non-profit enthusiast and advisor for multiple non-profit and charitable organizations. Through his work in the non-profit sector, and passion for blockchain and crypto technologies, Drew has been able to see the potential for this revolutionary technology to change the world for the better. It was a pleasure to have him on the show to geek out about the global philantropic potential of NFTs, our love for podcasting, and share some "Canadian" inside jokes (about snow, of course!) Enjoy!

Episode 5 - NFT Ant Woman

In this episode, I have the pleasure to talk with NFTAntWoman, a digital NFT artist and mom of three who explores and mixes video with interactive art. After a 15+ years career in motion design, Ant Woman took the leap in Web3 and never look back.  Together we discuss building community - or colonies, like ants! - as women artists, finding out places as mothers and creatives, as well as taking the journey at the pace that feels right for us (no FOMO here). Episode 4 - The Women Collective NFTS

This week, I had the immense pleasure to talk with Viola, Olivia and Hannah from the NFT project The Women Collective [https://thewomencollective.ch].  We discussed their first drop of 44 empowered mothers and two fathers, the "Raw Motherhood Collection," [https://opensea.io/TheWomenCollectiveNFT] which focuses on the vulnerable and misunderstood phases of postpartum, as well as their second drop [https://twitter.com/TheWomenCollNFT] that will occur on International Women's Day. Together, we talk at length on the importance of building a community in web3, the international, inclusive and diverse components of the NFT world, and we close on some self-care tips.

Episode 3 - Lori Grace Bailey

Lori Grace Bailey [https://twitter.com/lorigraceaz] is an Xtreme Weather photographer, NFT project advisor, and the host of "Elevating Women in Web3" (MWF 10a-12p EST/ on RugRadio [https://twitter.com/RugRadio].) She is also a founding member of @MyBFF [https://twitter.com/MyBFF] and an altogether amazing and generous human. As one of the first individuals who brought mental health into Web3 Spaces, she has generously agreed to discuss her professional life and passion for photography and storm chasing. We discuss falling in love with the process, financial freedom that comes with selling NFTs [https://opensea.io/collection/passionatepursuit] and the importance of representation for women and queer-led projects. She talks about misogyny and providing a safe and brave space to all, and about the beauty of honest and heartfelt connexion within this burgeoning and extraordinary community.
