Hospitality with Heart - a conversation with Susan and Merle

On Thursday 11th June, Engage Work Faith ran an event named 'Hospitality with Heart'. The evening was full of Biblical encouragement for hospitality with heart, practical ideas for simple snacks, grazing platters and meals, and featured a little tasting too (yum!). Interestingly, the Bible says a lot about hospitality. Whether you love it or find it overwhelming (“no time, nothing in the pantry!”), hospitality doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. Hospitality is an entrée (pun intended!) to deeper friendships and sharing faith — we can make it part of our everyday life – and heart! This episode features an audio conversation from the event with Susan and Merle; it was originally captured in video form, and was transcribed later into audio form. On Saturday 7th of February, Engage Work Faith held the annual ReFrame Conference. The topic this year? "ReFrame Peace"!  Conflict in the workplace is a big problem: how can we have workplace peace? The conference was purposed toward helping us to learn how to share the light of Christ and cultivate God’s peace in the workplace.  The keynote speaker was Dr Jonathan Andrews (author, lecturer & clinical psychologist) - a great friend of Engage, and previous keynote speaker at 'The Work of restORING' (previous Engage Conference).  This third podcast features the final half of Jonathan Andrews' talk from the day.
