Episode Who’s in Charge Here? Cover

Who’s in Charge Here?

We all want a Savior, but do we want a Lord? Mark 11:27-33- 12:12 Have you ever questioned who's really in charge in your life? In Mark 11:27-33-12:12, Jesus challenges the religious leaders about His authority, sparking reflection on our own surrender to Him. Jesus' authority is undeniable, seen in His teaching, power over evil, sin, and creation. He is Lord over all. Surrendering our sin, plans, control, worries, and more to Jesus is how we let Him lead as Lord. It's not about losing freedom, but finding true freedom in His authority. Just like the parable of the tenants, how we respond to Jesus determines our destiny. So, who's in charge in your life? Reflect on where you withhold authority from Jesus. Are you seeking Him as Savior but not as Lord? Let Jesus save you and lead you. Surrender to His authority and watch how He transforms your life. Take an authority audit. Identify areas where Jesus isn't fully in control and invite Him to reign. Let Jesus be not just your Savior, but your Lord. Trust that His authority brings true freedom and fulfillment. Will you let Him lead today?

Episode The Tree, The Temple, and The Test. Cover

The Tree, The Temple, and The Test.

From fruitless trees to prayerless temples, Jesus is after a life that actually produces. Mark 11:12-25 Have you ever felt like you're going through the motions but not producing any real fruit in your life? In Mark 11:12-25, Jesus shows us the importance of bearing fruit and having a fruitful relationship with Him. Just like the fig tree that looked alive but was spiritually empty, we must ensure that our lives are not just showing leaves but producing real fruit. Jesus didn't just cleanse the temple; He came to replace empty religion with fruitful relationship. This means removing doubt, bitterness, and unforgiveness from our hearts to make room for grace and love to flourish. So, what's holding back your prayer life? Doubt, tables of distraction, silence, unforgiveness? It's time to remove those rotten tomatoes from our backpacks and allow forgiveness to lighten our burdens. Let's reflect on our own lives: What's our mountain of prayer need? What has ended or proved fruitless? Who do we need to forgive? What tables need to be flipped in our hearts? As we meditate on these questions, let's commit to deepening our relationship with God and producing fruit that glorifies Him. Let's take action today to remove anything hindering our prayer life and embrace the fruitful relationship Jesus invites us into.

Episode Blind Spots Cover

Blind Spots

Don’t let blind voices keep you from a seeing Savior. Mark 10:46-52 Have you ever felt like you were being held back by blind voices, preventing you from truly seeing the Savior in front of you? In Mark 10:46-52, we see the story of Bartimaeus, a blind beggar who boldly called out to Jesus for mercy despite the crowd's attempts to silence him. Just like Bartimaeus, we may have blind spots in our lives that hinder our relationship with Jesus. Whether it's societal stigma, spiritual marginalization, or personal sin, these blind spots can keep us from experiencing the fullness of God's grace and healing. But the good news is that Jesus is always ready to respond to our cries for help. He is waiting for us to boldly ask for His mercy and guidance, just like Bartimaeus did. So today, let's ask ourselves: are we more like the crowd, or are we willing to step out in faith like Bartimaeus to encounter Jesus? Let's not let blind voices keep us from a seeing Savior. Let's boldly ask for help from God, throw off anything holding us back, and follow Him with unwavering faith. Take a moment today to reflect on your blind spots and ask God to open your eyes to His wondrous truth. Don't let anything hinder you from experiencing the fullness of His love and healing.

Episode The Way Up Is Down Cover

The Way Up Is Down

Following Jesus means trading self-promotion for self-denial and status for service. Mark 10:32-45 Have you ever felt the pull between seeking recognition and serving others humbly? In Mark 10:32-45, Jesus teaches us that true greatness in His kingdom comes from lowering ourselves, not elevating our status. He walked ahead of His disciples, foretelling His death and resurrection, while they were focused on positions of honor. Like James and John, we may be tempted to seek our own glory instead of embracing humble service. But Jesus reminds us that greatness is found in serving others, not in seeking power and authority. He calls us to follow His example of selfless love and sacrificial service. So, how can we apply this in our daily lives? Let's start by serving others with the right heart, everywhere we go. Whether it's our spouse, coworker, or difficult neighbor, let's seek opportunities to step into their shoes and meet their needs with humility and love. This week, let's trade prideful status for humble service. Let's reflect the love of Christ by putting others first and serving them well. Will you join me in this journey of self-denial and service? Let's make a difference in the lives of those around us by following Jesus' example. #TheWayUpIsDown #ServeWithLove #FollowJesus

Episode Easter 2026: Jesus Still Moves What You Can’t Cover

Easter 2026: Jesus Still Moves What You Can’t

Jesus is still rolling stones away. What is your stone? Mark 16:1-8 Have you ever felt like you were carrying a heavy stone in your heart? Fear, shame, disappointment, or grief can weigh us down, blocking us from experiencing the resurrection power of Jesus. Just like the women at the tomb, we may wonder, "Who will roll away the stone for us?" But here's the good news: Jesus is still in the business of moving stones that we cannot budge on our own. In Mark 16, we see how the women approached the tomb with devotion and love, even when they thought all hope was lost. They encountered a living Savior instead of a lifeless body. Their faithfulness in showing up, even in the face of uncertainty, paved the way for a miraculous resurrection. So, what stone is hindering your closeness with Jesus? Is it fear, shame, or doubt? Name it, surrender it, and ask God to move it. Let this Easter be a reminder that His power still moves stones. Ask for prayer and trust that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead can bring new life to your situation. Show up anyway, and watch what God does with your faith. Let's believe together that Jesus is still moving what we can't. #ResurrectionPower #HeMovesStones.
