In this very special episode of The Footy Conversion, (12-year-old) Rudy and his uncle Alan interview the one and only Tom Mitchell. Tom is a present day star of the game, having won a Brownlow medal in his time at Hawthorn, before crossing to Collingwood and becoming a cornerstone of their 2023 Premiership. Tom was kind enough to jump on the phone and face a hard-hitting Footy Conversion-style interrogation. After a two week New Zealand holiday/bye, 12 year-old Rudy and Uncle Alan are back with a vengeance. And this week they're joined by Rudy's friend (and bomber supporter) Hayden. Together they discuss the precarious state of the Pies and Hawks' seasons, before waxing lyrical about everything from ice cream to Sheezel to Hayden's local football career.
