Here’s a little bit about me: - I’m 15 years old. -I live in Brooklyn, NY. - I am a online high school student. (In Sophomore year) - I spend half my time on social media or watching youtube. LOL So yeah, that’s me :) You’re probably wondering… uh Lucy, what are you planning to do with this platform? Well, here’s the sitch. I feel like there are so many women that bust there butts every single day and there work is constantly going unnoticed. I want to highlight those women and give them the spotlight and exposure that they deserve. A girlboss is a confident, capable girl who pursues there own ambitions despite what society thinks they should be doing with there lives. Growing up in the society that we are in today there are so many things that are expected of us. Girls are expected to go to college, and become doctors, or lawyers or whatever there parents want them to be. Women who decide to do something different like become a youtuber, or influencer are looked down upon. These girls are shamed for doing something that they love. How awful is that?
