time to start exercising that muscle…again (ep. 13)

heyyy! this week i felt on my heart to film a podcast episode but only a short little clip! in today’s episode i talk about what it feels like to fall into sin after working so hard to grow self discipline and self control. this walk is never going to be all sunshine and rainbows. i think the worse thing the flesh can do to the flesh is led us into temptation because it all pushes us closer to the Lord. the flesh is apart of us. we are born into our flesh but born again by baptism, but just because we’re born again it doesn’t mean we never fall again but it’s means we receive the Holy Spirit, that brings us conviction and wisdom. willing walking into sin is probably the hardest thing to comeback from but i wanted to trust myself and take control into my hands…and if there is one thing that will continuously humble me, it will be me taking things into my own hands. He shows me so patiently that leaning on my own understanding will never be beneficial. i hope you don’t feel alone but know that no matter how perfect we want to be it never will be and really that okay. that’s expected. just make sure you take that conviction from the Holy Spirit to God. don’t listen to the devil telling you that you’ll never come back from this because trust you will. I’m still trying to figuring out which days may work best for me with my schedule. for today’s episode, I talk about how the god of this world—pride, lust, money, materialistic mindsets, lies, deception— has led and blinded so many unbeliever from the light of the gospel from the face of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4, Galatians 4 are some of the scriptures I go to for today’s episode. a few words of encouragement, just for you (ep. 10)

Hi everyone! I hope everyone of you are doing well. For today’s episode I wanted to pour so much encouragement and influence in you all. I know firsthand, I can testify about backsliding during my walk with Christ. I can testify to feeling the weight of embrassnent and shame when trying to escape your sin cycle. I want to share with you words that have encouraged me, blessed me, and renewed my thinking. God is never upset when you return, but the biggest mistake you can make it never turning back to face Him. Always turn back. No matter how many times life gets you down and out, the Lord is always ALWAYS waiting with His arms open. Please be so so encouraged today. I had to encourage myself.
