Four powerful corporations own the majority of market shares in the seed and agrochemical industry- and, in turn, have the power to control the way land is farmed in the United States. This has resulted in overproduction, degraded ecosystems, created public health crises, all time high farm debt and narrowed opportunities for new farmers.
