And the 7 Brides; Jane Powell, Ruta Lee, Norma Doggett, Virginia Gibson, Betty Carr, Nancy Kilgas and of course, Julie Newmar (meooww, for our Batman fans out there), The screenplay, by Albert Hackett, Frances Goodrich, and Dorothy Kingsley, is based on a short story.
