Look to Jesus!

“looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ - Lately I’ve been mentally spaced and not fully connected to Jesus. Just recently I found myself reading this scripture and felt all the noises just go away. He created my faith and if I just look to him and have faith because I know what he did for me, then there will be a Joy because I know GOD IS GOOD and he will bring my faith to perfection. So I encourage anyone stuck, struggling, or giving up to just look to JESUS and look to the holes in his hands, because he did that for us. WHAT DO I WORK THE HARDEST AT?

“For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge,” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬ ‭ - WHAT DO I WORK THE HARDEST AT? a lot of the time it’s getting things done, but if I’m being honest I don’t always think first to make every effort to work on my character, or to ask God to search my heart. We can get lost in doing work for God that we don’t take the time to work on what God looks at first.. the condition of the heart. If he’s my first love, I want to make every effort to be who he is calling me to be because he’s given me everything needed for life and godliness through the knowledge of Christ (2 Peter 1:3-7). I don’t want to work super hard at doing a work if I’m not working harder on being who he has called me to be, by building my relationship with JESUS! #podcast #god #weeklyencouragement #encouragement #Jesus

Our temptation won’t overcome us

Do you know that when we just keep our eyes on Jesus that we will be tempted but it won’t be more than what we can handle? Why? Because God is faithful and uses it to show us he has always been in control, it’s our duty to not lose sight of that.

Faith is the assurance!
