Ellis Platten - AwayDays, Football Shirt hunting, Becoming a Portista & More!

Eithan and Ben are joined by YouTuber Ellis Platten for the first ever episode of the Insider. Proud owner of his 'AwayDays' channel and an avid football fan, Ellis has been working hard to grow on the platform for just over seven years and now has over 140,000 subscribers tuning into his content. From non-league to working with Inter Milan right up to the recent EURO 2020 final at Wembley, Ellis has experienced it all and took his viewers along the journey alongside his more recent football shirt hunting videos which have taken the world by storm and seen charity shops nationwide raided by newfound collectors. A Leeds United fan from Norfolk, Ellis himself now has over 250 shirts and sells frequently on Depop at cut prices. He talks through his career to date having gone full time in the last year, including how he has been taken in as one of Porto's own thanks to falling in love with the Portuguese outfit.
