To celebrate the start of Icelandic crime series The Valhalla Murders on BBC Four in the UK, we spoke to actress Nína Dögg Filippusdóttir, who plays the lead role of Kata. It's another dark, addictive crime drama from Iceland, and we talk to Nína about Icelandic crime, her love for the UK and what makes a strong Nordic Noir.

In the series, she plays archaeologist, Professor Sandra Elmquist, who becomes embroiled in a murder mystery.
