The Acid Rain: Act III Session 4 - The Legacy of Thorne

The party, after escaping with minimal overall casualties, arrive to a city called "Steel City" via the "metal snakes." They come to quickly realize that the rain here, is very dangerous, as the rain is acid. The plot continues to thicken as after some investigation, it is rumored that the cause may be originating from a Black Dragon, giving Azalea some PTSD of her childhood, losing her mother to a similar fate. The party must decipher the cause of this rain and choose to either persuade or kill this dragon before any more damage can be caused to the city. That is, assuming they can work together enough to accomplish such a feat. This place is filled to the brim with steampunk architecture, weird "metal serpants" treading along tracks with fire coming from their spouts, and the whole party in bamboozlement and awe of the industrial revolution they have come across in this land. The party finally confronts the Noth Chancellor and their final roadblock keeping them from returning home. The party learns from the Chancellor that they had been sold out by many people they have wronged and given an opportunity to return home by simply handing over Acheron and his egg, which is quickly refused, leading into the Final Battle for their home. Will the party manage to fight through their differences and defeat the Chancellor, or will their dysfunction lead to their demise?
