She made the radical changes to her lifestyle and as a result, she has lost 60 pounds and reversed all of her chronic diseases. Dr. Tonya® is excited to share these secrets with you. I remember when I was 18 years old, perfectly healthy and 125 pounds. And although I knew I wouldn’t live forever, there was no doubt in my mind that I live to a ripe old age, be healthy, spry and in my right mind. But those thoughts started to change as over the next 3 decades, I began to collect diseases just as quickly as I collected extra pounds. I developed high blood pressure in my twenties, I suffered a stroke in my thirties, fought breast cancer in my forties, And by my 50 birthday, I had added pre-diabetes, high cholesterol, and my weight topped out at 218 pounds. I watched chronic disease snatch the life from both of my parents much too early, and I realized I would be  headed down the same path I didn’t start making some changes. That’s when, I began my quest to find out what I needed to do live the longest healthiest life possible. Now, I’m no longer overweight, and I’ve reversed or eliminated all my chronic diseases, completely off medication and I remain cancer free. I want the same for you. I want to have meaningful  conversations that unlock the secrets of longevity that help us create long living lifestyles. Together we can explore ideas about diet and nutrition, movement and fitness, personal development, and wellness practices. Some episodes of the new podcast will be conversations with the people who are teaching me, challenging me, and maybe even pissing me off a little bit.  I’ll talk to wellness experts about their research, their books, or films. Some days I'll just talk directly to you about what I'm learning and how it's changing the way I live, think and show up. In some episode, I will talk to people just like you and highlight their extraordinary life transformations to inspire you and show you what’s possible for your own life
