Hi Guys, I truly hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. On this episode I had a co-host help me steer the ship, my sister, Jamie-Lee. Thanks for coming on J and I look forward to having you co-host some more episodes again soon. We sat down with an absolute legend of a bloke, Blake. I really appreciate him coming on the show and sharing his story with us. He was a tad late for the interview and when I checked out his story on Insta I could see why…he had banged out an easy 1,200 and something pushups, just because. Blake is a kind man and a man that has shown great resilience during some hardships in his life. He is on wild journey which he definitely doesn’t take for granted. He has built a life that brings him joy in all aspects, both mentally and physically. We dived into his life growing up on his family’s farm across the ditch in beautiful New Zealand, later moving to Australia where he experimented with steroids which led him off course. He also shared some personal experiences that caused him a great deal of pain and some health issues. But with determination and sacrifice he found self-belief and began to work on himself everyday which led to a new outlook on life, becoming a vegan advocate and fitness junky. He is now in an amazing place with a great outlook on life, living the best version of himself. Blake someone who goes after it all and is now based in Bali where he shoots creative content for some big names, recently shooting with Fat Boy Slim and capturing big surfing comps with competitors such as the great Kelly Slater. Blake loves to surf, cycle and travel to incredible postcard-worthy destinations. He is definitely one to follow for a positive outlook on life and some epic content. I’ve known this dude for a good part of two decades and have loved watching him grow as a man, a husband to the beautiful Sarah and father to future front rower for the broncs Nuggy. He’s been such a good loyal mate and if you’re lucky enough to know him like I do he’s simply such a joy to be around. Thanks for being you and never change bro. He loves to stay active on his bikes and has been to Japan on a number of occasions to hit the slopes. He has accomplished a lot, receiving seven awards with go pro and being a go pro family member.
