In this third episode, Mark and Karen who have been friends since middle school (and have similar chemistry to two siblings in the backseat on a long road trip), welcome 2021 Nevada Writers Hall of Fame Inductee Steven Nightingale and Deputy Director of Earth Systems Program at Stanford to the studio. Steven and Richard are co-authors of The Paradise Notebooks, set to be released in spring 2022. In today’s episode, Mark, Karen, Steven and Richard discuss the essence of collaboration, academic writing versus creative writing, and the fine art of nature writing.
