Ben's diverse background of music and life experiences lend to an open mind toward any sort of musical project. Ben is passionate about music and eager to see local artists develop their sound. Speed of Sound also runs a monthly live stream to highlight local Iowa artists and delve a bit into what drives their passions. Featured guest Joey Corigliano

The RiFF with featured guest Joey Corigliano, drummer of My Future Sin.  Corigliano was also known as "Joey the Rat" on 94.9 KGGO for 11 years. He was responsible for one of the first local music festivals called the "Iowa Independent Music Festival" at Clearwater Beach.  The festival included the pre-Corey Taylor version of Slipknot. Aside from My Future Sin, Joey also played drums in Smilin' Jack, Dementia, Callous, and Corey Taylor's cover band The Dum Fux.
