He spent over 6 years as a play-by-play announcer for Auburn University Baseball and currently is the Voice of Opelika High School Football. Van is a four time ABBY winner for Sportscaster of the Year and was also awarded the Merit Award for Personality of the Year in 2019 by the Alabama Broadcasters Association. Tune in each week as he talks kids, sports, local news/events, and visits with various guests that drop by the station.
