Scott Moore: How a Small-Town Kid Rose to the Executive Suite

This episode is a profile piece that surrounds one of the most interesting people that I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. What started as a request to interview the CEO of a class one railroad turned into an opportunity to learn about a person who genuinely believes in helping people and making a difference.  Moore is currently the senior vice president of corporate relations and chief administration officer (chief of staff for the CEO) at Union Pacific Railroad. Moore was twice elected Nebraska's Secretary of State following eight years as a state senator for Nebraska's 24th legislative district. He was first elected to Nebraska's unicameral legislature in 1986 and serves as president-elect for the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce. Moore is also a member of the board of directors for the greater Omaha chamber of commerce and Durham Museum.
