13. Shadow Work Through Dream Interpretation: "Killing My Brother"
In this episode, I share one of the most shocking dreams I’ve ever had—a dream where I killed my younger brother—and explore what it revealed about my unconscious through Jungian dream analysis.
We talk about shadow work, symbolism, guilt, scarcity, instinct, and the parts of ourselves we abandon in order to survive. I share how I personally work with dreams and how I use ChatGPT as a reflective tool for self-inquiry and interpretation–not as an authority, but as a mirror. The depth of the insight you get depends on the depth of your honesty, vulnerability, and self-awareness, which is why discernment is so so important when working with tools like ChatGPT: take what resonates, question what doesn’t, and stay connected to your own inner knowing.
To show you what this process can look like in practice, I read through the full conversation I had with ChatGPT to interpret this dream—and what initially felt horrifying slowly unfolded into a story about self-trust, integration, and reconnecting with lost parts of my Self.
This episode is an intimate look into the psyche, the unconscious, and the transformative power of working consciously with dreams.
