The flesh is the fallen or sinful nature of humans. It is the condition of humans who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. This spiritually flawed state affects all aspects of a person's being, including their emotions, thoughts, and will. Unfortunately, many believers in Christ still experience the flesh, which is our inherited inclination towards sin.
