Episode 50: Celebration!

In this episode John and Linnea avoid talking about the originally intended episode theme of criticism and talk about celebration! To make the 50th epsiode, John and Linnea (try to) focus on the topic of celebration. Also, John's bday is coming up and we wanted to make sure everyone knew. John and Linnea share the struggle of celebrating the little wins and accepting compliments. But encourage our friends and listeners to celebrate the little things. (Do it cause they can't!) As they discuss the topic of celebration they enthuse about how much change they have been through as the podcast has unfolded. Episode 49: John-Sode (Men's Mental Health Week)

In this episode Linnea and John dive into thoughts and concerns on masculinity and men's mental health. Although they are not experts, John was able to enthuse about his ideas on masculinity, and what are some ways that men (but also anyone really) can take care of themselves and their community. Over the past few years, John has been an excellent role model for modelling healthy masculinity, and being an incredible advocate for mental health. We know that therapy can not be accessible for everyone, John (and Linnea) both return back to the importance of community. Do you feel you have a good connection to community? If not, what needs to change?

Episode 48: Do The Hard Thing! (or Not?)

In this episode John and Linnea discuss growth, goals, and the things that get in between them. Remember our new years resolution episode, when they got so jazzed about their goals, guess who stuck with it and guess who has let things slide? John has always been a great example of someone who faces their problems head on, its almost annoying, in this episode we see how beneficial that can be. But in reality, the struggle is real, and in the end, the people who get us through the hard are the real heroes. Are there things you have been avoiding these days? Don't do them, and listen to this episode instead!

Episode 47: Linnea-sode (Slow Bloom) {Art Show/ Fundraiser}

So in this episode, John takes the lead and asks about Linnea's current hybrid art show/ fundraiser. Linnea has 8 original collages up for grabs, and discusses them with John. John enthusiastically shares his impressions of each piece, often providing new / fresh persepctives on her pieces. The 8 pieces they discuss are from the collection Slow Bloom, collections and reflections on the slow process of healing/ growing. Episode 46: Allow Us to Reintroduce Ourselves

Ok, so it’s been a minute. Many of them. But we are back. In this episode Linnea and John recap what their lives have been like in the last month(ish). John went to Portugal, saw his bestie get married and got to reunite with heaps of his army buddies. In his element he was surrounded by those who love and support him. We love this for him. Throughout the episode he shares about his adventures in rural Portugal and the joy he gets from helping out and making the things around him better. Linnea shares her experiences of going to Paris. (She ends up finding a gluten free bakery and spends 9 euros on a croissant, silly girl, I hope it was worth it). Their energy and enthusiasm is contagious in this episode. They enthuse about upcoming projects and possible future collabs. If this if your first episode, you are in for a treat.
