But we DO know what each state would bring to the birthday party (Wisconsin: cheese, obviously), what America should grow out of (being "assholes to other countries"), and exactly what kind of person America is at the world party (the fun divorced dad with candy and fireworks, obviously).
Kelly and Don break down the America 250 semiquincentennial — the ball drops, the tall ships, the mascot named George — and try to figure out what this country is actually about at 250 years old. Is it a midlife crisis? A birthday bash? Both?
