Episode Living in Babylon Without Babylon Living in You | Daniel 4:1-3 Explained Cover

Living in Babylon Without Babylon Living in You | Daniel 4:1-3 Explained

In Season 3 Episode 15 of Two Faithful Brews & The Good News, Paul Purifoy and Uncle Royce continue the journey into Daniel chapter 4 by looking at the background leading into Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. Before moving fully into the vision of the great tree, this episode slows down and examines why Nebuchadnezzar’s testimony matters. The king of Babylon publicly tells the nations what the High God did toward him. His pride was public, his authority was public, his failure became public, and now his testimony becomes public. This episode explores how Babylon was great but temporary, how Nebuchadnezzar had dominion but only by delegation, and how God can use a nation or ruler without approving the pride inside that instrument. God used Babylon as a rod of correction, but Babylon’s king still had to answer to the Most High. Paul and Uncle Royce also discuss how Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in his palace until God disturbed him with a dream. That dream was not cruelty. It was mercy before judgment. Sometimes the trouble in our spirit is not the enemy. Sometimes it is God trying to wake us up before pride takes us too far. This episode also looks at Babylon’s wisdom and its limits. Nebuchadnezzar called the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers, but they could not interpret what God had spoken. Babylon can produce mystery, fear, ritual, and religious noise, but only God gives true revelation. Daniel was in Babylon’s system, but Babylon was not in Daniel’s spirit. He carried revelation because he belonged to God. This episode unpacks: • Why Daniel 4 begins as Nebuchadnezzar’s public testimony • How God can use a ruler without approving the ruler’s pride • Why Babylon’s wisdom had limits • How God’s warning can be mercy before judgment • Why we must weigh what we hear by Scripture and discernment • What it means to live in Babylon without letting Babylon live in you • Why pride tries everything before it bows to the God of heaven If God is disturbing the palace, it may be mercy calling the heart back into order. 🎧 Listen now: https://twofaithfulbrewsandthegoodnews.riverside.com/ [https://twofaithfulbrewsandthegoodnews.riverside.com/] For more visit paulpurifoy.com [http://paulpurifoy.com] #ChristianConversations #FaithBasedPodcast #BibleTeaching #OpenBibleConversations #RealLifeFaith #Daniel4 #Daniel4Explained #Nebuchadnezzar #Babylon #BabylonInTheBible #GodsKingdom #KingdomAuthority #KingdomOrder #SpiritualDiscernment #GodReveals #PrideAndHumility #MercyBeforeJudgment #BiblicalTruth #ChristianPodcast #SpiritualGrowth #TwoFaithfulBrews

Episode Why Can’t Success Give Me Peace? | Daniel 4:4 to 9 Explained Cover

Why Can’t Success Give Me Peace? | Daniel 4:4 to 9 Explained

In Season 3 Episode 16 of Two Faithful Brews & The Good News, Paul Purifoy and Uncle Royce walk through Daniel 4:4 to 9 and explore a question many people quietly carry: Why can’t success give me peace? Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in his house and flourishing in his palace. From the outside, everything looked successful. He had power, influence, wealth, and the greatness of Babylon around him. But one dream from God troubled his soul and exposed a truth many still face today: A palace can give comfort, but it cannot give peace. In this episode, we look at how God interrupted the king’s rest, why Babylon’s wise men could not interpret the dream, and how Daniel stood in Babylon without letting Babylon live in him. This is a powerful lesson on pride, discernment, revelation, and why outward success cannot replace inward surrender to God. This episode covers: • Why success without God still leaves the soul unsettled • How God may trouble your rest as mercy before judgment • Why Babylon’s wisdom could not answer heaven’s message • How Daniel carried revelation because he belonged to God • What it means to live in Babylon without Babylon living in you • Why God should never be our last resort If you have ever wondered why outward success still leaves inward emptiness, this episode speaks directly to that struggle. 🎧 Listen now: https://twofaithfulbrewsandthegoodnews.riverside.com/ [https://twofaithfulbrewsandthegoodnews.riverside.com/] For more visit paulpurifoy.com [http://paulpurifoy.com] #ChristianConversations #FaithBasedPodcast #BibleTeaching #Daniel4 #Daniel4Explained #Nebuchadnezzar #WhyCantSuccessGiveMePeace #PeaceInGod #SpiritualDiscernment #GodReveals #Babylon #BabylonInTheBible #MercyBeforeJudgment #PrideAndHumility #KingdomAuthority #BiblicalTruth #ChristianPodcast #TwoFaithfulBrews

Episode When God Disturbs the Palace | Daniel 4 Background Explained Cover

When God Disturbs the Palace | Daniel 4 Background Explained

Two Faithful Brews & The Good News is a Christian conversations and faith based podcast where Paul Purifoy and Uncle Royce walk through Scripture with depth, truth, and real life faith. In Season 3 Episode 14, we begin the background leading into Daniel chapter 4 and the testimony of King Nebuchadnezzar. Before moving into the dream of the great tree, the watcher, and the heavenly decree, this episode looks at the spiritual progression that brought Nebuchadnezzar to this moment. Daniel 1 shows Babylon trying to reshape identity. Daniel 2 shows Babylon’s wisdom failing while God gives revelation. Daniel 3 shows Babylon demanding worship through the golden image, but God delivers Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the fire. Now Daniel 4 begins with God dealing personally with the pride of the king. Nebuchadnezzar had already seen the God of Daniel reveal mysteries and deliver from the furnace, but seeing God’s power is not the same as surrendering to God’s rule. This episode unpacks: • Why Daniel 4 begins as Nebuchadnezzar’s public testimony • How Babylon tried to rename, retrain, and reshape God’s people • Why Babylon’s wisdom had limits • How Daniel carried revelation because he belonged to God • Why God can use a ruler or nation without approving its pride • How God’s warning to Nebuchadnezzar was mercy before judgment • What it means to live in Babylon without letting Babylon live in you This episode reminds us that pride will often try everything in Babylon before it bows before the God of heaven. But when God disturbs the palace, it may be mercy calling the heart back into order. 🎧 Listen now: https://twofaithfulbrewsandthegoodnews.riverside.com/ [https://twofaithfulbrewsandthegoodnews.riverside.com/] #ChristianConversations #FaithBasedPodcast #BibleTeaching #OpenBibleConversations #RealLifeFaith #Daniel4 #Daniel4Explained #Nebuchadnezzar #Babylon #GodsKingdom #KingdomAuthority #KingdomOrder #SpiritualDiscernment #GodReveals #PrideAndHumility #BiblicalTruth #ChristianPodcast #SpiritualGrowth #TruthOfGod #TwoFaithfulBrews

Episode More Than Conquerors | Romans 8:37 to 39 Explained Cover

More Than Conquerors | Romans 8:37 to 39 Explained

Two Faithful Brews & The Good News is a Christian conversations and faith based podcast where Paul Purifoy and Uncle Royce walk through Scripture with depth, truth, and real life faith. In Season 3 Episode 13, we continue our open Bible conversations through Romans 8, focusing on verses 37 through 39. After Paul asks, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” and names the pressure of life, he now gives the answer: “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” This episode explores what it really means to be more than a conqueror in Christ. Paul does not say we conquer away from all these things. He says we are more than conquerors in all these things. That means biblical victory is not always immediate escape from pressure. Sometimes victory is Christ holding you steady while the storm is still raging. This episode unpacks: • What “more than conquerors” means in Romans 8:37 • The Greek word hypernikao and the believer’s victory in Christ • Why suffering does not get the final word • What it means when Paul says, “I am persuaded” • Why death, life, angels, principalities, powers, present trouble, future uncertainty, height, depth, and no created thing can separate us from God’s love • How Romans 8 begins with no condemnation and ends with no separation • Why the love of God is secure only in Christ Jesus our Lord This is not religious hype. This is Gospel reality. You are not more than a conqueror because life is easy. You are more than a conqueror through Him that loved you. If you are in Christ, His love still holds. 🎧 Listen now: https://twofaithfulbrewsandthegoodnews.riverside.com/ [https://twofaithfulbrewsandthegoodnews.riverside.com/] #ChristianConversations #FaithBasedPodcast #BibleTeaching #OpenBibleConversations #RealLifeFaith #Romans8 #MoreThanConquerors #NothingCanSeparateUs #LoveOfGod #LoveOfChrist #ChristianPodcast #BiblicalTruth #SpiritualGrowth #FaithJourney #TruthOfGod #ChristianLiving #GospelMessage #TwoFaithfulBrews

Episode Who Shall Separate Us | Romans 8:35 to 36 Explained Cover

Who Shall Separate Us | Romans 8:35 to 36 Explained

Two Faithful Brews & The Good News is a Christian conversations and faith based podcast where Paul Purifoy and Uncle Royce walk through Scripture with depth, truth, and real life faith. In Season 3 Episode 12, we continue our open Bible conversations through Romans 8, focusing on verses 35 and 36. Paul asks one of the most personal and powerful questions in the Christian life: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? This episode deals with the pressure of life, the reality of suffering, and the truth that hardship does not mean Christ has stopped loving His people. Paul names tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, and sword. These are not small things. These are real pressures that can make believers question where God is, what He is doing, and whether His love is still holding them. But Romans 8 teaches us that pressure is not proof of separation. This episode unpacks: • What Romans 8:35 really means • Why suffering does not mean Christ has abandoned you • The Greek meaning of separation • The weight of tribulation and distress • Why Paul quotes Psalm 44:22 • How believers can stand when life feels narrow and heavy • Why the love of Christ still holds in the pressure This is not shallow encouragement. This is biblical truth for the believer who feels pressed, misunderstood, exposed, or weary. You may be pressed, but you are not forgotten. You may be wounded, but you are not abandoned. You may feel like sheep for the slaughter in the eyes of the world, but you are still held by the Shepherd of your soul. 🎧 Listen now: https://twofaithfulbrewsandthegoodnews.riverside.com/ [https://twofaithfulbrewsandthegoodnews.riverside.com/] #ChristianConversations #FaithBasedPodcast #BibleTeaching #OpenBibleConversations #RealLifeFaith #Romans8 #WhoShallSeparateUs #LoveOfChrist #ChristianPodcast #BiblicalTruth #SpiritualGrowth #FaithJourney #TruthOfGod #ChristianLiving #GospelMessage #TwoFaithfulBrews
