S1 E5 Exclusive Interview with Dr. Anonna Guha
Presenting Dr. Anonna Guha on the topic of Domestic Violence, Dr.Anonna Guha is the Managing Director of Nrityanjali Group – the institute of performing arts, education, personality development & management services, founded in 1963 by Founder-Chairman Dr.Tushar Guha. She is a Double PH.D and holds doctoral degrees in Sociology, Human Relations and Psychology. She holds a post graduate diploma in Personality Development, NET degree for Lecturership and is a Nritya Visharad (Kathak).
She has been a Corporate a Trainer, Executive Coach and Consultant with numerous Corporate Houses since the last 20 years, based on the pioneering research work and mentoring of Management Guru and Educationist Dr.Tushar Guha in the arena of Personality Development, Emotion Management, Human Relations, Psychology and the Arts.
A Visiting Faculty with Management, Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Hotel Management institutions, she has been grooming the youth on subjects like Interview Skills and Perspective Development. She is also a Life Skills Faculty in schools and a Trustee of Open Forum for Principals – an educational initiative by Nrityanjali.
A member of Nrityanjali by birth, being the daughter of the Founder-Chairman, Dr. Anonna Guha’s life for the last 44 years, has imprints of Nrityanjali’s mission ‘Love, Care & Share, whatever little we have’. Women centric initiatives of rehabilitating victims of domestic violence, motivating destitute women and jail inmates, grooming women taxi drivers, girl child education-boy child education, building social sensitivity in children and youth, working with old age homes and cancer patients, building toilets in schools and community toilets for in slums, building confidence and leadership qualities in students and youth through personality development, performing arts and fine arts, are some of the community initiatives that Dr. Anonna Guha is involved in with Nrityanjali.
A performing artiste (Kathak, Folk Western dance), with training in music and drama, Dr. Anonna Guha has more than 1500 shows to her credit. She is a recipient of the Menaka Award for Kathak dance and is the Dance Curator for Kalaghoda Arts Festival.
A recipient of Woman of Substance Award from Young Environmentalist Group, Hiranandani Foundation, Dr. Anonna Guha is a TED X Speaker and has also authored the book “21 Mantras for People Management : Lessons from Buddha, Vivekanand and Gandhi”, published by Indus Source.
