You've probably heard us mention either inflammatory, hydrogenated, or industrial seed oils on this podcast before, and it's always one of the #1 places we recommend people to start when trying to clean up their diet. That's because these oils are in SO MANY food products, and many people grew up cooking with them as well because they're cheap and accessible, or were told they're the better "heart healthy" option. Unfortunately, these oils have no nutritional benefit for our bodies and actually create a whole lot of inflammation and chaos for our organs and systems. Detoxing does not = deprivation. Any "cleanse" that immediately guarantees weight loss, instructs you to eat less, or really do anything extreme is likely not going to be a long term solution to the sub par health symptoms you're having.
