We struggle with anxiety, stress and some of us with depression and this seems to be typical symptoms for moms like us who are raising littles especially littles with extra needs. And although there are numerous ways we can reduce and remove inflammation from our bodies, each one of us nourishes differently and has different nourishing needs. And for that reason there is no one size fits all to health and wellness. But there is a pattern that requires consistency and discipline that will reduce this fire that control our thoughts, feelings and emotions. And once we find that rhythm of finding what is working to align our bodies again, we begin to find our true authentic self. The more my littles and I have become more open to these choices, the more results we are witnessing. Simple detoxing with zeolite, Chaga tea, Chlorella smoothies, bentonite clay, oil pulling, bath salts, and daily affirmations has helped us out crowd some bad habits. I hope you find this useful! Root Cause of Autism, Depression.... Inflammation!

Hello beautiful minds of all kinds. Today I am going to share some of the difficult similarities we anxiety driven and depressed moms experience along with our littles. It's the fire within us. And it’s not the spiritual fire, it’s the enemy's fire. Inflammation. What is inflammation exactly? How is it caused? I'll be going over what exactly this silent enemy within us is all about, ongoing health concerns that are created from inflammation and how we can reduce it. Stay tuned, I hope my frequency reaches yours. Do you or your loved one experience asthma, psoriasis, eczema, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, inflammatory diseases or autoimmune conditions (to name a few)? If you answered yes, then you or your loved one is experiencing fire within your temple! Because the mentioned symptoms are due to inflammation. Inflammation is a silent killer because more often than not, we don’t correlate our health concerns to it. And as we search for more and more outside sources to “alleviate” some of the fire's side effects, the more we seem to ignore or suppress it. But it isn’t going away. It’s getting worse! Did you know that our littles can inherit a gene of depression or autoimmune disease? And when they are born with that gene already, environmental factors, such as diet, toxins, delivery methods (to name the least) can really determine the fate of our littles health. Think of the gene like a small spark of fire being passed down to our children. And when that spark of fire is not addressed and instead ignited by environmental factors such as food and toxins and delivery methods, the spark becomes a wildfire and this wildfire called inflammation spreads to their brain. In turn chronic inflammation in the brain causes depression and autism. Yes, it’s that serious! That is why autism and depression pretty much go hand in hand. Today’s episode is all about you and your self care. We have been hearing more and more about self care over the past few years. It’s a huge trend on social media right now. It’s hype is mostly due to the amount of stress, anxiety and depression that we as humanity are currently experiencing more and more of. But what does it really mean to practice self care? How often should we self care? Can we truly afford self care? How can we create time for self care? Have no fear, Wendy is here with health coaching tips and the meaning of self care through a holistic and nutritional viewpoint that focuses on nourishing the mind, body and spirit. Because after all, my purpose is to help you find, create and sustain your own balance and zen. Stay tuned! According to Birchbox 74% of people consider self-care to mean taking care of their bodies, while 57% think it means taking a mental break. What do you consider self care consists of, taking care of our body or a mental break? Think about it. What do you do when you feel stressed? Share your thoughts! I’m always open to all perspectives. 39% of men say they consistently make time for self-care while only 32% of women do. Only 32% of women practice it?! Really ladies?! We’ve got to do better! Self Care Plan Thoughts Everything begins with a thought. So to figure out our personal self care plan we must begin with them. Our thoughts are very powerful and can either empower us or debilitate us. So let’s begin to listen to these thoughts and hear what they are saying. This is going to require moments of quiet and alone time. If you don't meditate at all right now, try one of the following: sit in silence, journal or draw out your thoughts. Even if they don’t make sense in the beginning, it’s important to let them out. You’ll learn to decipher them the more you practice. And by writing them down, you’ll have a visual as to what has been truly stressing you out. It’s putting them out in the open. It’s time to face those thoughts. Because they aren’t going anywhere. Feelings The second part to figure out for a self care plan are feelings. What feelings begin to come up when you are writing these thoughts and ideas down? How often are you having them? It’s important to be honest about our feelings. Because we can lie to ourselves and say something doesn’t bother us, but our feelings give us out. Actions And now the practice. Because in order to create we must take action.  In order to change old habits we must divert to better ones. In order to become ever evolving we must be honest about what it is that we aren’t doing to nourish ourselves through self Care. And this can look like anything honestly. With my experience as an integrative nutrition health coach and as a former anxiety driven mom myself, I understand and experience daily the hardships of raising a little who experiences anxiety, depression, PTSD and a disorder. Today’s podcast is about the foundation of The Neurodivergent Mom coach. I share the reason why I became inspired to create this podcast. I will also share my health coaching tip to build resilience and strength that will ignite your soul! It’s time to take back your lives. The journey to self care begins now. ... So why am I considering myself as a neurodivergent? I am not a normal mom, I don’t consider myself to have a standard way of thinking and I sure as heck am always thinking and experiencing outside the box moments. Partially from my former anxiety driven self and now because I have come to find out that the anxiety came from being a highly sensitive person or HSP. What is a HSP you ask?! Let me enlighten you! Resilient souls, for the longest time I lived with anxiety. But it was never because of my little. It was because of myself. And in the back of my mind I did think that her struggles were too much for me. I’m not going to lie. The therapy sessions, the pickiness of food, school, my personal schooling. Somewhere down this road of pity I had built for myself I began to lose who I was. And I began to think that she needed more. More therapies, more toys, more games, more going out. I got burned out. I burned myself out to exhaustion and despair. I low key hit depression. ... Since her diagnosis at 3 each year thereafter it's like she began to accumulate more and more anxiety, she experienced depression and even PTSD. And I missed the signs. Thank my creator that I found IIN (Integrative Institute of Nutrition). My journey as a health coach really helped me truly and completely change from the person I thought I was to actually living up to the person I had been wanting to be. Because I began to finally practice true self Care. I began to fully nourish myself not just through Nutrition but through the entire aspect of my healthy state of being. A mind body and spirit connection. I addressed  my anxiety to the point of creating a different outcome to what was once my usual. My usual anxiety driven day started to become less and less stressful. And that led me to step out of the same loop or same situations to create new outcomes. ... You know somewhere along the way we begin to  unintentionally mother our children to be just like us. This is partially not our fault as we are fighting against generations of trauma, unexpressed emotions and horrible communication. However, it is vital to first accept who we are so that we can work on ourselves to become creators of change. Creators of intent and differences for ourselves and for our littles.
