From Military to Real Estate. Interview with Eric Lazama

Born and raised in Guam until 25yrs old. Married to my amazing wife of 8yrs, Amy, and we have two energetic and loving kids (5yrs / 3yrs). Eric joined the Army reserves in January 2000 as a Military Police Officer at 17yrs old. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and was commissioned into active duty as an Apache aviator in 2005 with plans to retire from the Army in December 2023. Eric purchased his first home in 2013 and used the VA loan on my first two properties. He currently owns 4 SFH in AL and NC and invested in his first LP syndication in June 2022. Completed the Bigger Pockets multifamily boot camp and the Active-Duty Passive Income (ADPI) Military Multifamily Academy (MMA) in 2022.  In this episode, Eric gives advice to others looking or planning their limited partnership journey. We discuss red flags as well as reasons why he felt the move was right to invest with the GP team he chose. Don’t discredit the small wins
