Another week of existence is always a good thing. This week we've got the start of Mardi Gras as we start the recording on an Ash Wednesday. Which takes us down the odd rabbit hole of largest celebrations in the world for the week. There's a bit of a shocker that falls into that one. We take a moment to remember Gene Hackman and Michelle Trachtenberg. Which will take us into a long rabbit hole of the Oscars. We look at the hosting some of the speeches as well as a few other odd subjects. There is a bit of a focus to the in memoriam as well as the snubs from the list. We do a debate on what makes someone worthy of those honors. Hopefully everyone is safe and we're keeping you distracted.

We're still standing after another week of madness. Hopefully the fall of democracy is treating you well. We do try to move into less negative news with the bankruptcy filing of Hooters. Before we break into the recent outbreak of Measles in Texas. We look at the difference in people coming out in the 90s vs the kids now. We do take another peak into the SNL50 which Nate pitches the doc about their music by Questlove. We somehow dive into the Hot Ones rabbit hole and take a quick dive into the Oscars. Another week of talking into the void. Nate is trying to keep the sanity muting his way through societal issues. None of us can fault him with the rationalizing. We look into the current Target boycott that is starting to add up. We take a dive into the Costco situation with their fight on inflation. We've got another plane down. Plus some hockey fights with national anthem issues. Finally, we walk down the music isle looking at the misuse of songs in politics and we go down some other random rabbit holes. We hope people are safe out there and keeping their sanity.

Alright... we've been gone a little bit and there is a mystery episode that has somehow disappeared from the download. We'll figure that out and get it back up and running as soon as possible. This week we're trying to figure out ways of keeping sanity as Kanye has decided to torpedo his career... again. We dive into some name changes of certain body of water. Why are billionaires the way they are. Really wish we had an answer for that but they don't seem to care. We dive into the halftime performance from the super bowl. We try to take a deeper look into the performance of Kendrick Lamar. Nate shifts us into the drama of Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. We finally found a way to sneak into politics. It has been a crazy couple weeks out on the west coast of the country. We're able to give a little perspective on the fires breaking around the city we started the show. Take a look at a few of the conspiracies that are breaking on the internet. As well as a few of the crazies going out in the world with wooden swords... because that'll help. Sam gives an odd story about a Waymo and stopping at a school. Which leads into the idea of parents embarrassing their kids. Finally, Nate gets into his desire to see the newest Robbie Williams biopic that failed spectacularly at the box office this weekend.
