IMOH #7: You Can Do It

Hey everyone, after about a 5 month Hiatus, I have decided to update ya'll on what I have been up to in my life. In this segment, I will share some good news, as I wait for some more news about my journey to Law School. I wanted to encourage ya'll to move to believe in yourself and not only have vision, but do the work to make them come to pass. Life offers us opportunities to truly live and do amazing things, so I challenge you to do what you must, in order to get what you want. As always, thanks for being here.

IMOH #6: Live Your Life

Having regrets, dealing with external issues, wondering if you’ve done enough, can be hard on us all. As the years go by, I can attest that the feeling that I have missed out on my purpose or whether or not the ship as sailed on my own happiness, my own joy, is nothing short of truth of my life, as I can see it.  Finding myself in my own head and debating about putting my life on the back burner for any longer brought about a depression and feelings of anxiety, though without regret for those in my life I have cared for. I kept thinking that maybe it is too late for me and what will I do if everyone else moves on and I’m still here? Will I allow myself to wither away or will I gather up the courage to “Just do it”?  I chose the latter. I hope you do too. Let’s do it together.

IMOH #5: SEARCHING

Hey y'all,  Welcome to episode 5 of In My Own Head. I named this segment "Searching" because truly that is what I have been doing in the past couple of months. I have been looking to find pieces of myself that I may have lost or even neglected. I have been tending to my emotional and mental needs, as well as physical. I want you to know that you are not alone in your journeys to finding healing, in whatever way that may come, as long as it is healthy for you. Changes can be tough for us all to navigate through. Is change inherently good? Or is it just cliche for us to accept it, no matter the form that it is in? In this episode I am going to talk about my own changes. I want to share some of my pains, lessons I've learned, and how we can process it all-together.
