For many, many weeks, I’ve been working on a secret project for work. As we celebrate our 25th Anniversary this year, I’ve scoured tons of files, laptops, and CD’s for some of our best content. We’ll be featuring this Thanksgiving weekend starting at 1pm MST, you can stream it HERE. [http://www.riverboise.com] My friend Kristine Wicker worked with me years ago, here is our discussion of some of our backstage radio memories. sessions weekend KRVB [https://i0.wp.com/shelikestogoslow.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/sessions-weekend-teaser.png?resize=600%2C336&ssl=1] The post Revisiting 25 Years of Radio Sessions [https://shelikestogoslow.com/revisiting-25-years-of-radio-sessions/] appeared first on She Likes To Go Slow [https://shelikestogoslow.com].
INTERVIEW WITH WYNONNA JUDD
When Wynonna [https://www.wynonna.com]‘s PR team reached out to me for a possible interview slot, I didn’t waste any time requesting a spot! Wynonna is one of the strongest persevering women in the music industry. I wish our visit could have been so much longer, but I was so honored to be part of her interview schedule. She still managed to be quite intimate with her answers, including time singing with The Judds, and how much she misses her mother. Wynonna is appearing August 22nd at Boise’s Western Idaho Fair [https://idahofair.com/schedule/wynonna-judd/]! I love interviewing people. There’s something so exciting about watching that phone light and waiting for it to ring, when you know an amazing person is on the other end! I’m sorry it’s been a minute since uploading a podcast, hope to do more soon! Podcasts are sponsored by Donner Music! This is an amazing company with quality/affordable pedals, guitars, and keyboards. Stacey Guill – They Still Draw Pictures
Author and researcher Stacey Guill joined us once before to talk about her book “The Stone House in the Canyon,” about Mary Hallock Foote and her history in the Boise area. This time, Stacey is diving deeper into some of the amazing history of Ernest Hemingway. This journey, she takes us to Spain during the Spanish Civil War. During this time of warfare, children and families were part of the casualties. Thousands of children drew photos of what they saw around them. See some of these through Stacey’s eyes with her podcast. [https://i0.wp.com/shelikestogoslow.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/childrens-art.jpg?resize=640%2C463&ssl=1] See some of these drawings for yourself, in The Abraham Lincoln Brigade Archives [https://alba-valb.org/they-still-draw-pictures/], and in the Mandeville Special Collections Library.
