Acerca de The Cajun Counselor

Estate planning isn’t just about wills, trusts, and business structures—it’s about the people behind them. In this series, I explore the often-overlooked human side of estate planning: the communication, emotions, and relationships that hold a plan together. Think of wills and trusts as the “bricks” of an estate plan—they’re essential, but without the right “mortar,” even the strongest structure can crumble under stress. I focus on building that emotional and relational foundation, helping families navigate the tough conversations and complex feelings that can make or break a plan. But this podcast isn’t just serious talk. I also share stories from my life—my adventures in the kitchen, funny and unexpected moments, and, of course, my passion for LSU athletics. It’s a mix of insight, laughter, and real-life experience, all aimed at helping you approach estate planning in a more human, relatable way. Join me as we turn legal documents into lasting peace of mind—and maybe have a little fun along the way.
