Ep 6 - The Evolution of The Interview Process

In this episode of the Corporate BS Podcast, we dive into how the corporate interview process has evolved over the years from quick, straightforward conversations to today’s multi-round marathon interviews filled with panels, assessments, and behavioral questioning. We talk about the different interview formats companies now use, including virtual interviews, technical screenings and culture-fit sessions. We also break down interview lengths, why some companies put candidates through five or more rounds, and the types of questions that seem to come up in every interview no matter the industry. On top of that, we discuss one of the most frustrating parts of the process, how HR communicates after interviews, from instant rejections to weeks of silence and ghosting after multiple rounds. If you are actively job hunting, stuck in corporate life, or just curious how hiring has changed, this episode is for you.

Ep5 - The C-Suite

In this episode of the Corporate BS Podcast, we break down the rise in new C-Suite titles such as Chief Happiness Officer and Chief Culture Officer, to name a few, asking a simple question: are these roles actually fixing workplace issues, or just putting a polished label on them? We also dig into why these roles keep popping up in the first place. It is a lot easier to rebrand a problem than to put the effort into solving it. Creating a new executive title signals change to shareholders without forcing companies to rethink workloads, accountability, or culture at the core. And we take it one step further by questioning what success even looks like for these roles because if employee satisfaction doesn’t improve or turnover stays the same, what are they really accountable for? Without measurable impact or real decision-making power, these titles risk becoming more about optics than outcomes, giving companies a way to say they care without having to prove it.

Ep4 - Linkedin

"LinkedIn: Corporate Theater or Genuine Goldmine?" The Corporate BS Podcast | Episode —4 We've all seen it. The humble brag disguised as a life lesson. The "I'm pleased to announce" post that somehow turns a job change into a TED Talk. The motivational quote over a sunset that has absolutely nothing to do with business. Jordan and Jason are pulling back the curtain on LinkedIn — the platform everyone loves to hate but can't seem to quit. They're diving into why corporate culture has turned a resume website into a full-blown performance stage, who's actually winning on the platform, and whether any of it is real or just a carefully curated highlight reel designed to impress people nobody actually likes. But it's not all laughs — they also get into the real power LinkedIn holds in the corporate world, who's using it right, and how to cut through the noise without losing your mind or your dignity. In this episode: * The LinkedIn post archetypes we all recognize immediately * Whether LinkedIn actually moves the needle for careers and business * The unspoken rules of corporate social media and who's breaking them * How to build a presence that doesn't make your coworkers cringe Fair warning — if you've ever posted a photo of your hotel room view with a caption about "the grind," this episode might hit a little close to home.
