Episode 6/7 - Adventures in Fine Dining/Nothing More Than Feelings

When you don’t respect the two-part podcast, you don’t respect Gabe “The Pod Man” Perna and Matt “He Wants Some Pork Damnit!” Devan. In this episode we’re reviewing “Adventures in Fine Dining” AND “Nothing More Than Feelings.” In Fine Dining, the boys can’t act appropriately at the dinner table and so Tim bets Jill he can get a nice dinner out of them. Does he? Spoiler alert: Sort of! The main event is “Nothing More Than Feelings.” Tim offends Jill after making fun of her drooling on Tool Time, Al finally is a part of the cast and we get our first five-star grunt rating. In the episode, Tim has to get rid of a snake in the house while Mark has the boy scouts over for some pizza and death cards. Gabe "The Pod Man" Perna and Matt "Double Death Card" Devan ask the important questions...such as how the fuck did Wilson know it was a snake based on Tim's one-line description? How annoying was Jimmy Wagner? And most importantly, do suburban snakes work at the house and commute back to the woods? Plus: Our MVP, LVP and grunt rating. Gabe "The Podman" Perna and Matt "Big in Alpena Michigan" Devan chat about the episode in depth, hand out MVP and LVP, and issue their grunt ratings. The boys seek to answer important questions like what did Rondall really think was going to happen when he hit on someone in front of her wife and kids? Was this the first episode Al was actually on the show or is still not really a part of it yet? How much credit does John Pasquin deserve for these early episodes? Grab a cinnamon bun and strap in!

In this episode of "The Man's Podcast: Home Improvement Reviewed," Gabe "The Pod Man" Perna and Matt "He Is More Polite Than Gabe" Devan discuss episode three of Home Improvement..."Off Sides." In this episode, Tim shows us how much he loves football and Sir Larry shows us how unprepared he is to be a babysitter. The guys discuss what makes this episode so funny despite not having any memorable quotes, how the guy who played "Rick" stole the show and they share times where they were just as rude was Tim was when choosing to listen to/watch sports over social interaction. OK, Gabe was just as rude as Tim...Devan was less rude. Plus: How did three little boys carry a giant chest with Sir Larry from inside the house to the outside? Also, we pick our MVPs/LVPs, grunt ratings and HOF moments.
