30 episodesDo you want to be a producer? Have your lights on Broadway? Well, Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick sure did... check out April and Dom as they negotiate this unnecessary film and examine what it would take to have made this adaptation of an adaptation a success. Join April and Dominic as they observe the visual feast and splendidly decadent offering Baz Luhrmann presented audiences back in 2013, with special guest Elisa Jordan! The trio analyze the film, compare it to the book, and offer some good and not-so-good insights into the film and its reception. The Great Gatsby was and is a highly underrated film that we all highly recommend, earning one of April's elusive 5/5 Aardvark ratings (it should get a trophy). Join April and Dom as they go on a harrowing journey fraught with danger to both life and limb as they brave Paul W. S. Anderson's awful adaptation of the longest running survival/horror videogame franchise, Resident Evil. Complete with questions regarding writing, acting choices, and whether or not Anderson had even played Resident Evil, you won't want to miss the lowest rated film the Aardvarks have covered so far. You may need to have a hefty pour of the t-virus to survive this review... Like what you hear?! Support us on Patreon! In Dom's eternal quest to find the line that divides bad movies from being truly bad and so bad they are good, Dom chose the cheesefest Wing Commander for April to despise. The 1999 film features Freddie Prinz Jr. and Matthew Lillard horribly miscast in an adaptation of Christopher Roberts' classic game of the same name. Take a listen and let us know on Twitter how you would have improved this film! Like what you hear?! Support us on Patreon! Join April and Dom and special guest James, host of Lore Reloaded on YouTube as they dive into the film that changes cinematic Star Trek and creates loads of expectations within the Trek community that persist through the modern discourse on Star Trek fandom. The group also delves into some good analysis on things presented on screen and what they mean to the larger world creation within Star Trek and possible implications in it. We hope you all enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/lorereloaded Support James here: https://www.patreon.com/LoreReloaded Like what you hear?! Support us on Patreon!
