The Cardinals continue to be very inconsistent and are falling behind in the Central Division race. We take a look at Adam Wainwraights issues. Mike Leake's poor perfromance, why Flaherty has not been called up, and  Carson Kelly should be starting more.

In this episode we discuss the Cardinals lack of action before the trading deadline. What it means for this season and the future of Lance Lynn as a Cardinal. Mike Matheny and Yodier have been at it behind close doors and in public over Matheny's comment about Molina looking tired. Is it a big news story or just a whole bunch of nothing.

As the Cardinals started this series they were looking to gain some ground on the Cubs in the central division. They received 2 great pitching performances from Wainwright and Martinez, While the bullpen let them down again. which allowed the Cubs to take 2 of 3.

The Cardinals were looking to forget their 2 out of 3 series loss to the Pirates when they visited New York to play the Mets for a 4 game series. The Cardinals and their pitching were very good in games 1, 3, and 4, but were only able to get a split in the series. 

The Cardinals would get great pitching outings from Leake, Lynn, and Martinez, but would not get enough run support or bullpen support to take the series. The Pirates would take advantage of the bullpen in games one and three of the seris to pull out wins.
