Over Jerm Warfare
The red pill is seeing the world heading towards a centrally controlled digital gulag. The black pill is being a nihilistic, doom-scrolling loser. The white pill is waking up, taking responsibility and pushing back.Winning the information war requires dangerous ideas.
Donna Laframboise on the IPCC lying about climate change
This episode was recorded in 2020. Donna Laframboise is a Canadian investigative journalist, writer and photographer. She has previously worked as a columnist for the National Post and the Toronto Star, and served as the past vice president of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association. She is known for her critical reviews of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and its reports for the United Nations. Her book, on which my conversation with her is based, The Delinquent Teenager Who Was Mistaken for the World's Top Climate Change Expert [https://www.amazon.com/Delinquent-Teenager-Mistaken-Worlds-Climate/dp/1466453486], exposed two major issues: 1. Reliance on non-peer-reviewed literature: She found that a significant portion of the scientific literature cited in the IPCC's influential 2007 Fourth Assessment Report came from sources that were not peer-reviewed. 2. Use of non-scientist contributors: Her investigation revealed that many of the authors and reviewers for the IPCC reports had affiliations with activist organisations. Donna explained why the IPCC should not be trusted with anything to do with climate science. ➡️ If you enjoy my work, please show your support [https://www.jermwarfare.com/support/].
Michael Rectenwald on the stupidity of cancel culture
This episode was recorded in 2020. Michael Rectenwald is an author and former academic (at NYU) who critiques liberalism as failing due to its politicisation of the economy, eroding faith in free markets and property rights. He argues that wokeness [https://www.jermwarfare.com/tag/wokeness/] is a totalitarian ideology that weaponises victimhood to silence opposition and advance agendas like the Great Reset [https://www.jermwarfare.com/tag/great-reset/], promoting superficial fairness over justice. Michael also says that political correctness is inherently flawed and authoritarian, and stifles freedom of speech in academia. Peter Boghossian highlighted this [https://www.ukcolumn.org/video/peter-boghossian-Having-Impossible-Conversations] when he and James Lindsay hilariously trolled the peer review process, revealing how broken it is. ➡️ Please support my work: https://www.jermwarfare.com/support/ [https://www.jermwarfare.com/support/]
Chloe Carmichael on the dangers of self-censorship
This episode was recorded for my UK Column show [https://www.ukcolumn.org/series/jerm-warfare]. Chloe Carmichael [https://www.drchloe.com/] is a clinical psychologist who frames free speech as a critical component of mental health and emotional well-being. She argues that open dialogue fosters authenticity, personal growth, and psychological resilience, while censorship and self-censorship can undermine mental wellness. In her book Can I Say That? [https://www.amazon.com/Can-Say-That-Matters-Fearlessly/dp/151078490X?crid=166QIZZQTY60B&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.995VBdQCkilutA-gOCY_FSvZBcouBrMtNMiQbAIbKQfGjHj071QN20LucGBJIEps.C76UKBgvEHn1D9b6xWwvRvaD6myRTxO9ksoEx6xj6K8&dib_tag=se&keywords=carmichael+can+i+say+that&qid=1743424788&s=books&sprefix=carmichael+can+i+say+that,stripbooks,105&sr=1-1&linkCode=sl1&tag=ivba-20&linkId=d01d717dcba290a0c753ad3254b21504&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl], she explores free speech not just as a legal right but as a psychological tool, offering strategies to speak confidently even in socially sensitive contexts. 💌 Subscribe [https://www.jermwarfare.social] to my Substack
Mike Yeadon regrets being a Pfizer executive
This episode was recorded for my UK Column show [https://www.ukcolumn.org/series/jerm-warfare]. Mike Yeadon [https://drmikeyeadon.substack.com/] is a former Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer for allergy and respiratory research at Pfizer, where he spent 16 years developing new medicines before founding his own biotech company, Ziarco. With a PhD in pharmacology and over 30 years in pharmaceutical research, Mike became one of the most prominent voices challenging the official Covid narrative. He was amongst the first credentialed scientists to call out the government's 'lethally incompetent' scientific advice, arguing that lockdowns were based on flawed PCR testing that produced massive numbers of false positives. Mike consistently warned that the so-called 'second wave' was fabricated through dodgy testing protocols, pointing out that respiratory deaths in late 2020 were actually lower than in previous years. His outspoken criticism of the experimental Covid injections—which he argued were 'toxic by design' and failed to prevent illness or transmission—led to widespread censorship across social media platforms. ➡️ Mike's Substack [https://drmikeyeadon.substack.com]
Jamie Andrews on why viruses don't exist
This episode was recorded for my UK Column show [https://www.ukcolumn.org/video/jerm-warfare-jamie-andrews-on-why-virology-is-junk-science]. Jamie Andrews is a scientist and project manager who leads the comprehensive Virology Control Studies project. It involves over 100 contributors and includes experienced microbiologists and geneticists. Virology Control Studies explores scepticism that surrounds the existence of viruses with vivid metaphors that illustrate misinterpretation in virology. Jamie argues that methods used by virologists lead to false conclusions. He suggests that if you falsify the physical thing that virologists claim is a virus, then viruses do not actually exist. 💸 Support [https://support.ukcolumn.org] UK Column's independence
