She grew up in a stable home, surrounded by provision and opportunity. On the outside everything appeared normal, even great. But quietly, addiction was taking root. What started as patterns and tendencies slowly grew into isolation, escalation and loss. This episode explores the early unraveling, the moments before things fell apart, the hidden struggles and the loneliness that often accompanies addiction long before anyone notices. Today I sit with a woman whose story is both heartbreaking and breathtaking. She’s a single mum, a DJ, and someone who has walked through some of the darkest valleys addiction can take a person. From the wrong crowds, to identity confusion, to pregnancies marked by drinking, to health scares, heartbreak and suicide attempts - her journey is heavy. But through every moment, even the ones she didn’t want to survive, God kept her. He truly kept her. This episode is raw. It’s tender, and it’s proof that even when we’re lost in darkness, God’s hand is never too short to reach us. Her story is too full for one conversation, so this will be Part 1. I pray this episode reminds you that no one is too far gone for God.
