12 episodesIt is time for the only award show that matters. It’s the 2019 Nutsy Awards!!! And for our 5th Annual edition of the squirrel classic, we go all out to make this show special. Who will win? Who will lose? And a rendition of song you have to hear to believe. It’s the most random awards show in history and we wouldn’t have it any other way!!!
It is our final episode before Starrcast. Tonight, Ashlee learns about Starrcade 83: A Flair for the Gold. She learns about the importance of wrestling on Thanksgiving night. And how not blade where everyone can see it. Dog Collars can be brutal, and Ric Flair has some damn fine robes. All that and more as we take a look at Starrcade 83 and the parallels to ALL IN.
Tonight we bring you a very special episode of The Sunday Night Slam on Tuesday. Tonight, we are joined by the founder of TNA Wrestling and Global Force Entertainment, WWE Hall of Famer, J E Double F J A Double R E Double T. Jeff Jarrett to discuss all things Starrcast and ALL In, while touching on some amazing moments in his career. We discuss singing Karaoke, Scott Steiner (Send your get well letters to Conrad Thompson) How Jeff and Global Force Entertainment became involved with Starrcast, and more. And a special message from Richard.
On our road to Starrcast and ALL IN, we continue the trend of big first shows. And today Ashlee learns about Wrestlemania 1. The show that started it all for the WWE. Did the Crockett’s fund this show because of the Saturday Night timeslot? Mene Gene singing the National Anthem seems out of place. The executioner has blonde hair. How many times did Gorilla say “it’s a happening?” And we really feel bad for Brutus Beefcake.
Tonight, on YWWE, Ashlee learns about the very first NWA TNA PPV. Something cheeky breaks the ring before the show. A group of Elvis impersonators that can fly that aren’t Nic Cage, incest rednecks, big Johnsons, and even Don West. This show starts off innocent enough but takes a very rough turn.
