SANDITON - Episode 2 - Floppy on the Toppy or The Pineapple Express

David and Lisa Campbell recap Sanditon Season 1, Episode 2 starting with historical context about pineapples as Regency status symbols. They discuss key plot beats: Charlotte swims hatless, Sidney broods, and a cringe-inducing church sermon by the reverend signals a tone shift away from strict “Austen world.” Edward and Esther’s relationship is revealed as step-siblings, while Clara’s leverage threatens their scheme.
