A fellow cohort member and I had the wonderful opportunity of attending an addiction recovery center. We share our thoughts on observing & participating in the center. We also share our hopes and fears about working in the addiction counseling field.

In this episode, I sit down with my mom (Vicki) and we discuss well known serial killers. She was born in 1960 and was a young adult during the most harrowing time of serial killers. We discuss ones that she remembers and why we think people are fascinated with them.

The Netflix show You is a psychological thriller that follows the character Joe Goldberg. His obsession with Beck turns him into quite the killer. I look at his childhood and discuss why I think he is the way he is.

This episode I talk about the one and only Dwight Schrute from The Office. He is an intense and fun character with an interesting way of looking at the world.

Happy Halloween! Hannibal Lecter is an iconic cannibalistic serial killer who has a traumatic past. I explore what I think his diagnosis is and what prompted him to kill and eat people.
