No Heroes

In this episode, I discuss how, later in the recovery, I felt like I was unbreakable like Bruce Willis, or indestructible like Mr. Burns. I also analyze a scene from Menace II Society, in which Samuel L. Jackson demands money from a colleague. As you can imagine there was a lot of profanity to bleep. After taking some time off, I return with the first of a two-part episode about my continued recovery. On the 29th, it will have been a year. I address what the last month has been like with regards to the emotional recovery, and I discuss steps I've taken to stay social and feel fulfilled. I talk about various meetup groups I've joined (including trivia) and some of the part-time jobs which will hopefully begin in earnest this summer.    As always, music by The Powdered Toast Men
