come listen as we discuss the tea party, American identity, and the development of popular memory during the second party system.

In our final episode to round out the semester, we will cover the many legacies and changes in the aftermath of the American Revolution.

This discusses part one in Alfred F. Young's book The Shoemaker and the Tea Party. We include the key themes and points that were brought up in George Robert Hewes's life. This book also discusses major events in the Revolutionary War from Hewes's point of view. We included three questions in the end for listeners to think about.

In this podcast episode, Chapter 11 of Taylor entitled Partisans will be discussed. Key points of discussion from this chapter include issues derived from slavery, the uphill battle known as governance, slave revolts and revolutions, and the further development of political parties in the United States. We hope you enjoy!

This is my attempt at a overall summary of the start of chapter 10 from Allan Taylor's book American Revolutions. I would also like to apologize for the quality of the audio. My microphone does not like me anymore I suppose.
