I am so happy to introduce you to my sweet friend, Brittany McGregor, on episode 43 of Talk with Tori! Brittany shares many experiences through her life that have shaped who she is.  We walk through her journey of being raised by her grandparents, infertility,  miscarriage, and dealing with social anxiety.  She is reminded of memories of her grandmother and the impact that she had on her life.  Infertility, PCOS, and miscarriage can be very difficult, and she discusses what she experienced.  Social anxiety is something everyone deals with in some way, and she talks about how this has affected her life.  Brittany is open about how life may not always look picture-perfect, but there is always a plan and purpose when we keep the faith. I am so excited to introduce you to my mentor, Mary Farmer, on episode 40 of Talk with Tori! Mary Farmer shares her journey of becoming a widow after 27 years of marriage.  She opens up being a caregiver to her husband for many years after a life-altering diagnosis.  She gives advice on how to get through the hard times and paints an honest picture of what it is like to watch your partner’s life end.  Mary provides examples of ways to support others and how to rely on Jesus to get you through each day.  Every single person will a difficult time they have to walk through, and Mary gives you the hope to be able to push through and use the growth for good. I am pumped to introduce you to the spunky and caring, Grace Drouet, on episode 39 of Talk with Tori! Grace Drouet shares the importance of being yourself, and why we need to speak the good that we see in others.  Grace and I share personal stories of comments people have made over the years that have been hurtful to us that we have never forgotten.  It is a gut check that sarcasm and words we say can affect others throughout their lives.  Since we live in a negative world, Grace encourages us to see the good in others, check on others, and not let our insecurities get the best of us. Every single one of us has been told something that really hurt our feelings and/or that affected our life. This episode is the best reminder of why we must speak positive words to everyone we come in contact with.
