Clancy Lester is an environmental creator and educator, native bee, insect and plant nerd who is passionate about the climate and environment, indigenous knowledge, science communication, and making the case for ripping up the nature strips we currently have in our streets, and turning them into real nature strips, full of native flowers, plants and biodiversity. You might’ve seen Clancy’s videos on social media before, talking about bees, about how Autumn doesn’t exist in Australia, or the videos of him sun baking on a nature strip in the middle of the road wearing his buddy smugglers. We spoke about the need for positive male role models in the time of the manosphere, the nature and climate crisis, the capture of our politicians by their corporate donors and why we should all be excited to get out hands dirty and help build a better world.
