The First of Many

Explaining a Few Things.. I met Kevin “Kev” Swai about 4 days after posting the podcast trailer. We met at WSHA and quickly hit it off. We vibed well and we had great conversations all within 4hrs. Kev mentioned that he wanted to start a podcast of which, to my surprise, was what I was in pursuit of, as well. He wanted to use the Yeti mic that I used to record the trailer for the WORK&PLAY podcast and we landed on the decision to record an episode together, as co-hosts. This podcast is a genuine recording of us getting to know each other and sharing stories. The first 15mins, I share a story of how I got conned and what I learned from it. The rest of the episode is us sharing other perspectives and other things that our work and businesses have taught us. With that being said, this is the last “WORK & PLAY with Bob and Friends”. WORK&PLAY: The Trailer

Often botched, it goes: “a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” Me and a few people I know walk and wear different suits everyday! We’re founders, managers, clerks, assistants or Basically some degree of proficiency in any and everything! When I work on something and my ADHD dial is on red, I need roughly 4-5mins of an audible dose of freedom and expression, then it turns to work and play. Because everything I swear to live and breathe by, I do it.. with music. In Work and Play, I sit down with a couple of friends and we talk about our work and personal lives and the soundtracks we play to live through those experiences. We talk lyrics vs real-life. Keyboard vs on-site and a little bit of business here and there.
