Learning to Embrace Our Blocks

Healing our emotional blocks and scars does not mean eliminating them, brushing them over, or pretending that they never existed. Sometimes, healing means completely transforming not just the consequences, but even the memory of a traumatic event. Sometimes, we choose to keep scars from our healed wounds so that we can better assist others who are going through the same situation.  Ultimately our scars and blocks are our soul's way of grounding, of connecting to Earth and to those who can benefit from our gifts... In this video, I will first talk about some of the ways in which our blocks can be our anchor and grounding cord. We often forget that our scars and limitations can act as roots that go deep down into the darkness, so the tree can bear more fruit. Ascension: The Union of Heaven and Earth

Often, we start the path of spiritual searching because the circumstances of our physical life do not satisfy us anymore, do not seem to have meaning. But does that mean that the experience of enlightenment, or ascension is somehow in denying the physical, in escaping the hated 3D world?Does ascension mean being lifted up out of here, a return of the idea of "rapture" — when us, starseeds, advanced souls, can finally get to escape the Earth, with its doubts, fears and limiting physicality? Or is ascension something else? In the West, there is too often a dichotomy between body and spirit, an intellectual "enlightenment" with disgust or shame of the physical, of the struggle, the fear, the doubt. Sexual licentiousness under the guise of "healing" or "tantra" is only a reverse side of this dichotomy, not an actual healing. I have come to believe that we are here to unite polarities. And this uniting polarities, this marriage of heaven and Earth is actually what ascension and the collective evolution is about.
