Party finish the battle with the hags and begin exploring the old windmill. Phil throws a magical speaking box out a window that transforms into a child when it hits the ground, while Collen takes everything that isn't bolted to the ground. Then the party moves on to Vallaki reaching the gates of the township just before nightfall.

Full recap from session 1 up to the beginning of session 6, this is the best recap of session 1. (0:0 to 6:00). Then the party gets ready to fight. And then get into the combat (12:00 to END)

After breakfast and recuperation the party gets into high gear instigating their plan to escape Barovia without Strahd or his minions noticing. Collen heads to the mercantile and swindles a carriage and two draft donkeys while Saban prepares everyone's disguises. They then head to the local inn and get two rooms casting invisibility spells on everyone else to keep there existence at the inn hidden. In the two rooms are: Phil, Josen, and Ismark and: Collen, Saban, and Irena. Phil gets some wine, which he begrudgingly shares with Ismark while Ismark chats with Josen. Irena tells her story to Collen and Saban of how Strahd first began 'courting' her. Saban and Collen seem to really connect to Irena, and Saban theorizes as to why Strahd chose to 'court' her in the way he did. The next morning the party takes off for Valaki along the way they pass a dilapidated windmill where they see an old woman carry a moving sack in from a food cart. After Phil overhears the word 'hag' its on.

After helping lay Irena and Ismark's father to rest the party returns to the mansion where they agree to escort both of them to to town of Vallaki to escape Barovia and Strahd's watchful eye, although Irena is still hesitant to leave. That night, before they can leave they are attacked by a group of dire wolves (16:00 to 1:27:00 for skipping the combat) during which Phil befriends a mysterious crow. After Collen helps clean up with his magic Irena become resolute to leave with her brother and everyone gets some rest in preparation of the next day. That morning Saban, Ismark, and Collen lay plans to escape. Phil gets into some hijinx, and whiskey, while Josen freaks out after realizing Phil is missing.
